From Manuscript to Frankfurt

Every book has a journey.

For me, this one began with an idea I had been thinking about for some time: What if the opportunities people are looking for aren’t always somewhere else? What if they’re already around them?

That question eventually became Take a Look… There’s Still Money All Around You!

The book explores opportunity, resourcefulness, entrepreneurship, and the shift from simply working harder toward understanding leverage—especially in a world increasingly shaped by artificial intelligence.

But writing the book was only the beginning.

There was the editing. The publishing. The decisions about the cover. The marketing. The conversations about the ideas inside it.

And now, another chapter has been added to the journey.

Frankfurt.

Seeing the Book on the Shelf

The photograph that means the most to me is the close-up of the book sitting on the exhibition shelf.

There it is.

My name.

My title.

My ideas.

Sitting alongside books written by other authors from different backgrounds and different parts of the world.

That’s a different feeling from seeing the book on Amazon or on a website.

A physical book has presence.

And seeing it displayed at an international book event makes the years of work behind it feel tangible in a completely different way.

More Than a Book Exhibition

For an independent author, opportunities like this matter.

The publishing landscape has changed dramatically. Authors no longer have to wait for a traditional gatekeeper to decide whether their work deserves to exist.

We can write.

We can publish.

We can build audiences.

We can use technology to expand what is possible.

But that doesn’t mean the journey is easy.

Every new opportunity to place an independent book in front of readers is meaningful.

That’s why I’m grateful to Combined Book Exhibit for including Take a Look… There’s Still Money All Around You! in its New Title Showcase at Frankfurt.

From Hustle to Leverage

There’s also something fitting about where this book has ended up.

The central idea behind Take a Look… There’s Still Money All Around You! is that we have to learn to see opportunity differently.

Sometimes the next opportunity isn’t about doing more.

Sometimes it’s about seeing differently, thinking differently, and leveraging what you already have.

Writing the book was one form of that.

Using digital publishing was another.

And now, seeing the book represented internationally is another reminder that an idea can travel much farther than the person who originally wrote it.

The Journey Continues

I don’t know exactly where this book’s journey will end.

And honestly, I don’t think it needs to have an ending yet.

For now, I’m simply grateful to see Take a Look… There’s Still Money All Around You! sitting on a shelf in Frankfurt.

From manuscript to publication.
From publication to exhibition.
From an idea to an international audience.

The journey continues.
